Abstract

|
Purpose: This study aims to identify the effects of integrated practice applying core nursing skills among nursing students.
Method: Methods: The study employs a single-group time-series design.
The data were collected from 118 nursing students of S university in D city between from March and June 2019 and analyzed using paired t-tests and SPSS 23.0.
Results: The findings reveal that critical thinking disposition (t=-7.70, p<.001), confidence in performing core fundamental nursing skills (t=-6.32, p<.001), learning attitude (t=-3.29, p<.001), class satisfaction (t=-12.95, p<.001), and confidence of integrated practice (t=-13.49, p<.001) show statistically significant improvements.
Conclusion: Results: Conclusion: Integrated practices applying core nursing skills improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of nursing students. The results indicate a need to develop practice education strategies such as well-designed subjects and apply fundamental nursing skills to increase the confidence of nursing students.
